The Rezilir Way For Cognitive Decline
The brain evaluation that finally looks at the whole picture.
A three-day, in-person, physician-led workup designed to identify the real drivers of cognitive change. Built on the same protocol Rezilir co-investigated with Dr. Dale Bredesen in the Evanthea Clinical Trial.
Why this is different
If you have been told to come back in six months, this is not that.
Standard neurology measures decline. Our work begins by investigating what is driving it. Cognitive change is rarely caused by one thing. It is the convergence of several drivers: inflammation, insulin resistance, sleep architecture, toxins, hormones, vascular health, gut function, and genetic risk. Identifying which ones are at play in a specific patient is the entire game.
You cannot do that work in a twenty-minute appointment. So we do not try.
What you have probably seen
A standard cognitive workup
- 20-minute appointment with a neurologist
- A MoCA or MMSE score, sometimes a structural MRI
- A diagnosis category and a medication option
- A follow-up scheduled six months out
- No clear answer for what is driving the change
What happens at Rezilir
The Comprehensive Brain Health Evaluation
- Three days, in person, led by Dr. Craig Tanio
- QEEG brain mapping and NeuroQuant volumetric MRI
- 200+ biomarkers across genetics, metabolism, inflammation, toxins, hormones, gut, sleep
- A personalized plan that names the drivers and the next steps
Care is led by
Dr. Craig Tanio, MD, FACP, IFMCP.
Dr. Tanio is Rezilir Health’s CEO and co-founder, a board-certified internal medicine physician who personally leads every Comprehensive Brain Health Evaluation, and a co-investigator with Dr. Dale Bredesen on the Evanthea Clinical Trial, the study examining whether a precision-medicine approach can change the trajectory of cognitive decline. Rezilir Health was one of six sites in the country selected to participate.
He is named in Dr. Bredesen’s The End of Alzheimer’s and has spent more than a decade refining a root-cause approach to complex chronic conditions that conventional care often cannot resolve. He works alongside Rezilir’s in-house clinical team, including a registered dietitian, brain health coach, nurse practitioners, and integrative care coordinators.

Three days, designed to answer the question conventional care leaves open.
The Comprehensive Brain Health Evaluation is conducted on-site at our Hollywood, Florida clinic over three consecutive days. The depth is the point. Each day builds on the last, and you leave with a preliminary plan in hand rather than a follow-up appointment in six months.
Day 1
Intake and diagnostic testing
Day 2
Clinical evaluation with Dr. Tanio
A 3-hour evaluation with Dr. Tanio
Physician analysis and initial treatment strategy
Day 3
Preliminary plan, labs, and nutrition
You begin by reviewing your preliminary plan, followed by your lab draw and a nutrition consult, so you leave with a clear path forward rather than a wait for a second appointment.
Preliminary plan review with Dr. Tanio's clinical assistant
Your first appointment of the day is with Dr. Tanio’s clinical assistant to walk through your preliminary plan. The final, fully informed plan is delivered with Dr. Tanio once your specialty labs return.
Comprehensive lab draw
Standard insurance-eligible panels run through your local lab, plus specialty panels measuring inflammation, metabolic function, toxin exposure, chronic infections, gut function, hormones, nutrient status, and genomics.
Nutrition consult with our registered dietitian
A structured assessment of nutritional status, dietary patterns, and the lifestyle factors most likely to be moving the needle in either direction. You leave with specific guidance, not generic recommendations.
Cognitive decline is not one disease. It is a combination of drivers. We test for them, and we treat what matters.
Dr. Craig Tanio, MD, FACP, IFMCP
After the evaluation
For those who need it, a depth of care that does not exist in most settings.
If the evaluation surfaces no urgent concerns, your care transitions to a proactive plan focused on preserving cognitive function and reducing future risk. This is the outcome we hope for.
If a more intensive course is warranted, treatment is delivered on-site at our clinic, where therapies, monitoring, and real-time clinical decision-making can be coordinated as a single program. For out-of-town patients, that typically means staying locally for three to four weeks at a time.
Therapeutic
On-site modalities

- Wearable integration (Oura, CGM)
- Plan adjustments as data changes
Fit matters
Who this program is built for.
Our model works best for patients who are looking for a depth of investigation and a level of commitment that conventional care is not structured to provide. We are direct about who that is, and who it is not.
A good fit
- Adults noticing early changes in memory, focus, or processing
- Patients diagnosed with MCI or early Alzheimer's seeking an integrative path
- Family history of Alzheimer's or known ApoE4 status
- Patients pursuing proactive brain health and longevity strategy
- Patients prepared to travel and commit time to a thorough evaluation
Likely not a fit
- Patients with advanced dementia requiring full-time supervised care
- Patients unable to travel to Hollywood, Florida for the evaluation
- Patients seeking insurance-covered care (we are a private-pay practice)
- Patients looking for a single appointment or one-time fix
- Patients not willing to engage with lifestyle and biomarker-led care
Evidence base
The protocol behind this work is being studied, not just practiced.
The Evanthea Clinical Trial, led by Dr. Dale Bredesen, examined whether a precision-medicine approach could meaningfully change the trajectory of early cognitive decline. Rezilir Health was selected as one of six sites in the United States to participate as a co-investigator.
The trial findings, and Dr. Tanio’s analysis of what they tell us about the future of Alzheimer’s care, are the most rigorous evidence base available for the work we do every day.
Hope is Happening
Patients come to us in different stages of their journey. The common thread is what they tell us afterward. Their stories are why we built this clinic the way we did.
The Stories That Keep Us Going
A note on investment
The level of care reflects the level of work.
Rezilir Health is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, and we do not structure our care around what an insurance company is willing to authorize.
The Comprehensive Brain Health Evaluation is a meaningful clinical and financial commitment, and we believe in being clear about that up front. When you submit a request, our team will follow up to walk you through what is included, what is not, and whether this is the right next step for you. There is no obligation to proceed.
Your Next Step
Begin with a conversation, not a commitment.
Tell us a little about what you are experiencing or what you are looking to address. A member of our team will follow up to discuss fit, timing, and what to expect from the evaluation.
